1. DATA CONTROLLER OF THE PROCESSING<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Data Controller for your personal data, answerable to you for the lawful and proper use of your personal data, is Lena Corporation S.A.M., with registered office at 74 Boulevard d\u2019Italie – 98000 MC Monaco \u2013 contact details privacy@lenagroup.net<\/a>, in the person of its duly empowered manager. You can address queries or requests to the Data Controller using the contact details above.\r\n

2. PURPOSES FOR WHICH YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nThe purposes for which your personal data are collected and processed are set out below, with the legal basis for each:\r\n\r\nPurpose Data processed Legal basisYour participation to the event 9th World Bronchiectasis Conference – Hannover, Germany 24 to 27 June 2026 (the Event)\r\nPersonal data identifying you: name, surname, address, credit card details, food allergies (if any)\r\nYour express written consent to the processing of your personal data\r\n

3. HOW YOUR PERSONAL DATA ARE PROCESSED AND HOW LONG THEY ARE KEPT<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nYour personal data will be processed lawfully and in accordance with the principles of fair play and transparency, with or without the help of electronic tools, in such a way as to safeguard their accuracy, integrity and confidentiality at all times.\r\nYour personal data are processed and stored in Ireland and in the Netherlands.\r\nIn accordance with the Law, your personal data will be kept for no longer than the time needed for the purposes for which they are processed.\r\nThe length of time for which your personal data continue to be processed is determined as follows: your personal data will be processed from the time you sign up to participating in the Event and will be kept for the length of time needed for us to discharge our legal obligations, which in this case is 10 year after the end of the Event. The start date of the processing will be the date when you register and complete the attached form.\r\n

4. PROVISION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS OPTIONAL; CONSEQUENCES OF NOT PROVIDING THEM<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nProviding your personal data is a necessary condition of taking part in the Event and your access to all the services connected with it, such as travel or board and lodging at the establishments selected by the organizer of the Event. Provision of your personal data is optional, but if they are not processed this will hinder the proper performance of the above activities by Lena Corporation S.A.M..\r\n

5. PERSONS TO WHOM YOUR PERSONAL DATA COULD BE COMMUNICATED<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nYour personal data collected are kept at Microsoft Cloud (Netherland and Ireland); they are processed only by specifically authorized staff and only in the course of their duties.\r\n

6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nWithin the purposes indicated in point 2 of this privacy notice, your personal data may be communicated to:\r\n\u2022 all subjects to whom the right to access such data is recognized by virtue of regulatory provisions;\r\n\u2022 to our suppliers and local correspondents for the performance of the related tasks in connection with the Event;\r\n\u2022 to all subjects, public or private, when the communication is necessary or functional to the performance of our activity, also to comply with legal requirements, and in any case within the purposes illustrated above.\r\nIn particular, your personal data may be communicated to subjects operating in the following sectors:\r\n– accommodation and hotel facilities;\r\n– transport companies and carriers;\r\n– catering;\r\n– banks, financial institutions for the management of payment;\r\n– accounting service providers;\r\n– scientific associations\r\n– relative public or private agencies related to CME\r\n– companies participating in the Event with promotional functions.\r\nOnly the category of recipients is specified, as it is subject to frequent updates and revisions. The updated list of recipients may be requested by contacting the Data Controller through the channels indicated in point 1 of this privacy notice.\r\n

7. TRANSFERRING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ABROAD<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nYour personal data will be sent to other countries in the European Union.\r\n

8. YOUR RIGHTS AS DATA SUBJECT<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nWhile guaranteeing that your personal data collected will be processed in the most proper and transparent manner possible, we give you notice that you can exercise the following rights under the Law (article 11):\r\n\u00b7 the right to obtain access to your personal data from the Data Controller, and the right to rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data concerning you, or to object to such processing under article 11 of the Law;\r\n\u00b7 the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (\u201cAutorit\u00e9 de Protection des Donn\u00e9es Personnelles\u201d);\r\n\u00b7 the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data (including special categories of data) at any time; such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of previous processing based on your consent;\r\n\u00b7 the right to portability of your personal data: the right to be given a copy of it or to have it transferred directly to another data controller;\r\n\u00b7 the right \u2013 when the legal basis of the processing is either a contract or your consent, and that processing is carried out by automated means \u2013 to obtain your personal data from the Data Controller in a structured and machine-readable form for the purpose of communicating the data to another data controller or for other purposes (the \u201cright to data portability\u201d);\r\nYou can exercise these rights by sending an explicit written request to the Data Controller in one of the following ways:\r\n\r\n– by post to: 74 Boulevard d\u2019Italie – 98000 MC Monaco;\r\n– by e-mail: privacy@lenagroup.net<\/a>.\r\n

9. PROFILING AND DISSEMINATION OF THE PERSONAL DATA<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n \r\n\r\nYour personal data will not be disseminated, nor subject to profiling or any other fully automated decision-making process.\r\n

IMAGE RIGHTS<\/strong><\/h2>\r\nI hereby consent to be photographed and\/or filmed during the Event, by the press and communications media present at the Event and authorize them to reproduce and distribute, directly or through third parties, on a non-exclusive basis and worldwide, my image and voice, as well as to use these photographs or videos in part or in full, in any form and on any media, including for commercial purposes. The right to use photographs and videos depicting me includes, in particular: – physical or digital communication documents (internet, banners and so forth), digital publishing (video, CD-ROM, DVD, photo CD, video disc and so forth), press articles (magazines, daily newspapers, and accredited periodicals), press advertisements, web communications. The use of my image must in no way invade my privacy, or more generally harm me or cause me any harm. I further acknowledge that I am not bound by any exclusive contract regarding the use of my image or name. This authorization to use my image is granted free of charge.
