Acknowledgement of Country

Lung Foundation Australia, the University of Queensland and Lena Group acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we meet, and recognise their unceded sovereignty of and deep connection to Country. 
We respectfully acknowledge the Turrbal people and the Jagera people, on whose lands we have convened for WBC 2025. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present. We do so in the spirit of reconciliation, recognising that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia are significantly overrepresented in lung disease and lung cancer.
