Organizing Association
Dedicated to improving lives
Conference Host
The Bronchiectasis and NTM Association’s mission is to improve the lives of people with bronchiectasis, nontuberculous mycobacterial lung (NTM) disease, or both conditions. The Association accomplishes this by providing education, supporting advocacy, furthering research, and advancing high-quality, specialized care. Some of the Association’s flagship programs include the Bronchiectasis and NTM Care Center Network, the Clinical Trials Network, and the Bronchiectasis and NTM Research Registry.
Bronchiectasis and NTM Care Center Network
The Bronchiectasis and NTM Care Center Network is a group of nationally recognized centers dedicated to providing high-quality, specialized care for people with bronchiectasis and NTM lung disease. Participating centers strive to provide prompt and accurate diagnosis and offer support and resources for people impacted by these chronic lung conditions. Accepted centers receive designation in the network based on set standards established and reviewed by a panel of experts in the field.
Clinical Trials Network
The Association’s Clinical Trials Network (CTN) is designed to improve and enhance traditional operational aspects of clinical trials. The CTN provides a more efficient model for conducting clinical trials, reducing barriers to patient participation and accelerating the development of therapies.
The CTN is a nationwide network of bronchiectasis and NTM lung disease specialty centers vetted for participation in research studies and clinical trials.
Bronchiectasis and NTM Research Registry
The Bronchiectasis and NTM Research Registry is a clinician-reported, longitudinal database of detailed medical information from thousands of people with non-CF bronchiectasis and/or NTM lung disease. By combining detailed medical records with standardized data collection, the Registry gives researchers a deeper understanding of disease patterns, treatments, and outcomes over time. Researchers can leverage the Registry to advance new analyses, publications, and trial recruitment.
