Welcome Letter

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to contribute to the 2nd World Bronchiectasis Conference.

Following a successful first edition in Hannover in July 2016 attended by 280 international delegates, we are now happy to announce that the 2017 edition will take place in Milan, Italy, from 6 to 8 July, 2017.

As you well know,  the lack of strong evidence in bronchiectasis limits our clinical practice and we need to share our experiences and work together to design targeted therapies.

The organization of an annual conference specifically dedicated to bronchiectasis represents an important step further to make no more of bronchiectasis a neglected disease.

This year we also decided to run three postgraduate courses before the congress and to devote an entire afternoon to pulmonary non – tuberculous mycobacteria disease.

Joining forces, exchanging clinical experiences, sharing data and ideas, creating a network of active experts and investigators in the field of bronchiectasis are the main goals of the conference.

We would be delighted if you may consider in your 2017 plans to partner with the 2nd World Bronchiectasis Conference.

Yours Sincerely,

aliberti-wbc
