Notes:

  • You have full control over your presentation layout/structure etc.
  • If your presentation is in a different format, or if you plan to show a video, please inform us as soon as possible – to allow enough time for us to support your needs


CONFLICT OF INTEREST

We kindly ask all Speakers and Presenters to provide a conflict-of-interest declaration as a second slide of your presentation.


SOCIAL MEDIA OPT-OUT POLICY

To opt-out of your image being used on social media, Speakers should provide clear requests/instructions at the beginning of each presentation. A ”no social media” message/icon can be included on slides or posters to clearly express that results should not be posted on any social media sites.


ON-SITE GUIDELINES

The slide center will be open for you (to hand in your presentations), in the Faculty Lounge (in front of the Plenary Room), as follows:

  • Hannover Congress Centrum: 24th to 27th June included
  • A technician will collect all the slides, and all presentations will be run from a central computer using PowerPoint (only)
  • Speakers & Presenters will not be able to use their own laptops
  • A presentation is required at least two hours before the time of your session/lecture

We invite you to keep track of everything in the (constantly updated) congress programme

Authors are responsible for printing their poster in advance


Schedule

  • Posters can be pinned up on June 24, 2026, from 13.00 to 14.00 or on June 25 from 08.00 am to 09.00 am (before the beginning of the scientific sessions) and dismantled June 27, 2026, after 13.30. (Any uncollected posters will be disposed of)
  • For your poster location, please check with the registration desk. You will also find in situ a “posters emplacement panel” listed alphabetically (by surname), where you can find your allocated location
  • During poster sessions, poster presenters are requested to stay with their poster at all times, ready to answer any questions, and present their work to the Committee
  • Poster sessions schedule will be published in the conference programme, ten days before conference start (available on the WBC2026 website)
  • Posters will remain on display at HCC from June 24th to June 27th, 2026
  • Only poster presenters attending the session in person will be eligible for a poster prize
  • Winners will be chosen during the conference, and announced at the following session


POSTER CHAIR GUIDELINES

We kindly remind Poster Session Chairs to check presentation timings and commitments, within the Scientific programme.

7 days before the conference, the Organizing Secretariat will provide you with the posters (PDF’s) you will be judging.

Your 3 Main Tasks as Chair

  • Attend the Poster Sessions for the duration
  • Moderate the discussion with Posters Presenters
  • Judge and score all posters competing for the WBC Poster Award (Ballott papers provided by the Organizing Secretariat)
